Get children excited about writing, and improve their literacy and visual art skills by learning how to write and illustrate picture books. Our presenter, award winning children's author and printmaker,
Narelle Oliver, will step you through the process, sharing her ideas and techniques. Narelle will demonstrate how to use printmaking materials to achieve stunning prints and handmade classroom picture books, with no sharp tools.
As with all SpeedyArt professional development workshops, participants gain hands-on experience in using art materials in new and traditional ways. No experience needed! Just bring with you a sense of adventure and maybe an apron! On completion of the workshop, you will leave with your own works of art (and lots of ideas) to share with students, and a Certificate of Attendance.
