Connecting Speech Pathology and Attachment informed practise

The early years attachment between parent and child is critical in a child's life. Disrupted attachment leads to impaired development of the infant brain, emotional and social problems and vulnerability to stress. mental health problems and substance abuse.

Presenter, Andrea Murray is a speech pathologist and audiologist. She has also completed a paediatric speech pathology experience and has worked in Mental Health for the last 14 years and Infant Mental Health for the last 8 years.
